Synthetic Anatomy

Apparel Intelligence teamed up with Primaloft, Lefty Productions, Swatchbook, Paul Smith Photography, and Ford Models to showcase our digital-to-real sample pipeline.

We created a jacket inspired by human anatomy and artificial intelligence to exhibit our innovative 3D pipeline advancing the apparel design and development process. From design to 3D renders, we used a mixture of fashion and visual effects 3D software.

Digital-to-Live Production

Lefty productions, the LA-based manufacturer for high fashion retailers such as Neiman Marcus and Nordstrom, produced our live sample using automated laser fabric cutting solutions that imported our digital files. As a result, our pipeline eliminates the paper pattern drafting and tracing/plotting process. So save the chalk, tape, paper, and scissors.

Sustainable Material

Primaloft, the leading loft supplier for global retailers such as Bloomingdales and Patagonia, supplied us with their premium insulation designed with biodegradable technology. The "Primaloft Bio" material has appetizing fibers that break down in less than two years once exposed to microbes in landfills and wastewater.

Swatchbook, the digital-to-live material marketplace for global brands such as New Balance and Puma, provided us with a digital material library that "matches" the real-world material, saving time and increasing accuracy in creating a digital-to-live sample. Choose suppliers worldwide, including Belgium, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Korea, Mainland China, Mexico, Taiwan, USA, and Vietnam.

Beauty in Storytelling

We created a final production media shoot with Ford Models, the global pre-eminent modeling agency, and Paul Smith Photography, the studio shooting editorials for clients such as CAA and Variety (magazine), and celebrities such as Rami Malek (Academy-Award winner), Kate Beckinsale, Dove Cameron, and more.
